As a staple of the Toyota lineup, the Camry has been a popular pick among shoppers. Its strong fuel economy, comfortable interior, and good value make it a highly-ranked midsize sedan. For the 2025 model year, Toyota has updated the Camry design, and now it offers more tech, a set of new powertrains, and an updated interior. You're sure to enjoy all the changes made to the new Camry, so continue reading to learn more about them.
What's New for the 2025 Toyota Camry?
For the 2025 model year, Toyota has fully redesigned the Camry. All gas-powered engines have been removed, and two hybrid powertrains have taken their place. Also, Toyota has taken the opportunity to overhaul the interior with new tech and a fresh design.

Performance
Powering the new 2025 Toyota Camry are two hybrid engines. The base powertrain is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with two electric motors. Then there's a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with three electric motors. The two-motor model outputs 225 horsepower, while models with three motors produce 232 horsepower. Each engine is attached to a continuously variable automatic transmission, with front-wheel drive being offered with the base engine, and all-wheel drive is available for the other.
Fuel Economy
At present, the EPA has yet to release any info about the 2025 Toyota Camry's fuel economy. That said, given last year's hybrid powertrain got an estimated 51 mpg in the city and 53 mpg on the highway, we expect this year's engines to offer the same or better gas mileage.

Design
Part of the Toyota Camry's update included overhauling the model's front fascia, so now the headlights are thinner with a unique look, and the hood is more angular. Additionally, the interior has been changed, and a new dashboard design is offered with a large trim piece stretching from the passenger's side to the infotainment display.
While cloth seating is still standard in the base model of the Toyota Camry, higher trims now feature leather upholstery. Higher trims also have heated seats, a heated steering wheel, ambient lighting, and adjustable rear-seat headrests.
Technology
The update to the Toyota Camry's interior also brought with it new tech. A digitized gauge display is now offered in every trim, but only the top two trims get a fully digital display. Other new tech includes an eight-inch display with Toyota's latest software and standard Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. In higher trims, a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen is offered.

Safety
Whether you're running errands, commuting to work, or simply taking a drive down the highway, the new Toyota Camry will keep you safe. Coming standard are features like automated emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic high beams, and adaptive cruise control. More advanced features are available in higher trims, such as a head-up display, surround-view camera system, and parking sensors.
